With the Edit Me F.A.S.T.® editing service, your document is read from the perspective of an objective reader who seeks to understand and improve the content. Before making any changes, we read your document to identify key points and concepts and gain an understanding of your writing.
In other words, we essentially break down the logic and build it up again.
Based on this knowledge, we then work to improve the clarity, cogency and consistency of these concepts and, if necessary, modify the structure of your document, which may involve rearranging sentences and paragraphs and improving between-paragraph transitions. During this process, we make comments and suggestions using Microsoft Word’s Track Changes tool for how to improve your writing.

So what does that mean? Well, by thinking like an objective reader, you basically assume nothing, question everything, and seek clarity and understanding of the information. By having an objective reader evaluate your writing, you move closer to achieving clarity, cogency and consistency in your writing.
Next, we focus on line editing. This involves improving the clarity, grammar and quality of writing on a line-by-line basis, enhancing between-sentence transitions, and polishing the writing. Proofreading, which is included in our editing service, is the last step before sending the document for your review.
